(Dave) Virtually all of our shopping needs are satisfied via three or four stops on Boston Post Road. This road provides at least three shops for every shopping need imaginable. One day, on our way home from a Costco-Stop&Shop-Target-Bank of America spree, we noticed a clearance advertisement at a quaint store, Atlantis Antiques. We determined we were in need of something to hold Amy's piano music, and we thought we could find something fun at the store. After describing our need to the dealer, he showed us an 19th century piece of furniture used to store coal from some wealthy family in England. He then showed us this turn of the twentieth century magazine rack, which we immediately coveted. This find stayed on our wish-list of 'things we wanted for our home' until Saturday. I earned a little bit of extra money by painfully enduring four hours of Scott-Foresman Addison-Wesley math training in January, and we used it to purchase the antique. I couldn't really procure an adventurous, interesting story of the rack's history, so I'm attempting to invent such a story. So, you can earnestly await a tantalizing tale a few blog entries away...
