Day 7, Sunday, we went to church at the Hanalei Branch. Afterwards we enjoyed a relaxing day together at the timeshare.
Monday morning David and I went scuba diving together at Tunnels beach while Mom and Dad watched Josh for us. We went on two dives, it was awesome! My favorite parts of the dives were the swim throughs we did in the gaps of the coral reef--it was so exhilarating! Another highlight of our dives was spotting a Zebra Eel!
In the afternoon we went mini golfing at this beautiful course. It was set up to showcase all the amazing flora and fauna of the Hawaiian islands.
It was really fabulous!
The mini-golf game came down to a three-way tie between Dad, Michael, and Dave. It all came down to the last hole to determine who was the champion...
...Michael won the honor and glory of being the champion of the course!
Our last night together in Kauai we went out to eat at the Makana Terrace. The food there was superb and the view spectacular!
Little Josh started falling asleep at the dinner table. He was out like a rock!
Josh zonked out in his Grandma's arms!
Day 9, our last day in Hawaii, we went for lunch at Bubba Burgers.
Our hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, and milkshakes were delicious (my mouth is watering just thinking about the food!). I put a little flower behind Josh's ear while we were waiting for the food. He's a cute little kahuna, isn't he?!
We drove to these waterfalls on our way to the airport.
Josh with his Grandpa at the waterfalls.
Our last stop before we went to the airport was at the amazing Marriott Resort in Lihue. That place was HUGE. The koi pond and garden area was really beautiful.
David, Dad, Michael, Josh, and Kim at the Marriott. We then made our way to the Lihue airport. Josh did great on the flight back to the mainland.
